30th Annual Douglas County Chili Cook Off

Last year more than 4,000 people joined in this festive evening of good food, fun, and entertainment as many local Douglasville celebrities presented the community with different flavors of chili. In previous years, local politicians, political parties, many candidates, local businesses, and non-profits competed to determine the best chili in Douglasville and Douglas County.
This year, the Chili Cook Off is being moved to Douglas County High School (across the street from the CAC) due to construction in O’Neal Plaza.
By purchasing booths and tickets, vendors and guests support the valuable work of the Cultural Arts Council.

Over the past nearly three decades, the Chili Cook Off has become a favorite Douglasville tradition; one that originated on the front porch of the Cultural Arts Center many years ago and grew to fill a plaza.
