For Cooks
Entry Fee: Donations are accepted to compete in Chili Competitions. Donations can be made upon arrival at the competition. Each quarter, these donations are shared with a charitable organization.

As a Host: Organize your own Chili Cook-Off Competition event.

As a Cook: Enter your chili into any SCCA-hosted event or any participating Chili Cook-Off Competition promoted on our website.

As a Fan: Receive promotional information and special invitations to upcoming cook-offs throughout the Southeast. Taste and vote for your favorite chili at participating SCCA Chili Cook-Off Competitions.

Note: There are no age restrictions for participation.

For Hosts:
The hosting organization will provide an area for each cook to set up. Each cook is responsible for supplying all their own cooking equipment, ingredients, supplies, and utensils. Specific requirements will be provided by each cook-off host upon successful registration. Each cook-off is unique in its categories and scheduling of cooking and turn-in times. Hosts and cooks should mutually agree on start times and when to announce the winners.

For Cooks:
Prepare your best chili in either a Big Pot or Crock Pot. You will be provided an area for prepping and cooking. Each cook must supply all their own cooking equipment, ingredients, supplies, and utensils. Specific requirements will also be provided by each individual cook-off host upon successful registration. All food handling, preparation, and serving must comply with local and state guidelines, policies, and regulations. Cooks are subject to a sanitary inspection by the Chili Cook-Off Competition Host at any time. Please verify with the host about cooking times, tasting times, and award announcement times, as each cook-off is unique in its categories and scheduling.

For Fans:
Each fan may vote only once per category (1st/2nd/3rd place, People’s Choice, Traditional, Vegetarian, etc., if applicable).
